fraud scam ??

okay here i go my girlfriend bought a car through a local newspaper from were the guy was advertising it.,, but the bad thing she paid the guy in cash for the car ,an also bought him rims for the car , and labtop but the guy she purchased them from never gave her a receipt , so after months looking for a guy he gave her a fake name !! but after viewing the car it was purchased through a local car lot , went and spoke to the car lot owner an told us his real first name an stated that the guy still had not paid him after months of looking for the guy the car was stolen !! filed a police report finally after detectives looking for him found out that the guy picked up the car an stated he was not paid in full , but we have several witness he was paid for the car by my girlfriends brother was a witness when she paid him an her lil sister for the labtop he showed her how to download songs etc need help asap going to take him to court need something to stick !!
