Serafem Birth Defects Warnings.
Patients are warned that if they are or will become pregnant, the person must not take any SSRI as there are known birth defects that can happen. If the person wasn’t aware that they were pregnant – there is a greater chance (5 times the risk) of the baby being born with a defect.

Heart defects
Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension
Abdominal & Cranial Birth defects
Severe blistering, peeling and red skin rash
Uneven heart beats
