hi. i have just recently went through some legal troubles and i was wondering if you could help me in any way. i was pulled over illegally in the state of minnesota. currenlty i have a suspended license in the state of minnesota. the police officer who pulled me over said that he pulled me over because he ran the license plate and the registered owner came back with a suspended license. the registered owners of the vehicle were my mother and father who look nothing like me. MPD charged me with felony possession of a narcotic, and 2 counts of possession of paraphonelia. the officer had my vehicle towed and i proceeded right to jail where i stayed for a day and a half about. i paid a bail-bondsmen $500 of the $3000bail/bond i was being charged with. the day after i got out of jail i went to get my vehicle which had been towed. the total on the tow was $150 which i had to borrow, same as the $500. the case has since then been dismissed and now i am wondering if it is at all possible to get my money back somehow. do i need to get a lawyer or can i do it myself?

Hi twesty85,

We can't recommend a legal solution to this issue.

Not sure what you're asking, do you want to get the money back from the tow company?

That might be hard to do, as they provide a service, and did perform the service.

Also in the same vein, if you're trying to get money back from a bail bondsmen, that is also a service, that you elected to do. Even though your case was dismissed, these two services were rendered. Feel free to contact your local state bar if you want to find a lawyer.

You have given that much description but still didn't get the main problem. I didn't get anything what you are going to say and where you have exactly problem. You have to clarify the details about on which you are talking.

You need to ask the professional attorney for this question you ask...
